On patience (not patients) and good things to come.

Congrats! I have just popped up to grant you the gift of an abundance of patience. Use it now, or later, or much, much later. It’s up to you entirely. This special donation allows you to explore the option of waiting a long time whilst being at peace. You may even already have it, if you’re one of the lucky ones. I’ve just received a notification from my secret courier who says you’ve received my sacred offering. Can you believe it? I can prove it to you. Look… you’re still reading this post even though it’s a load of ramble nonsense AND you’re only just being to get annoyed at it. Imagine how this newfound patience will transform your life! Imagine how easy it will be to go to the supermarket now!

In all seriousness, having patience, in my opinion, really isn’t just a gift. It’s a skill that everyone can learn to have. One that I am only just learning myself, too. With patience we are unstoppable; able to take one day at a time and live in the moment. Imagine that! No plans, no schedule, just living. Scary. But do-able. At the moment it might feel like we don’t have a choice but to be patient but each and every one of us can take this as an incredible opportunity! When was the last time you were made to improve a skill? Like properly made to with no choices involved. Probably, if you’re lucky, never. The only certainty anyone has at the moment is that THIS TOO SHALL PASS and we will, by the end of it all, have more patience than most generations ever did. Amazing.

I come bearing even more good news! Patience isn’t the only gift you’ll be receiving. There are so many amazing things coming your way. You may not be able to see them right now because there is a general convention of not peeping underneath the wrapping paper. But, when the time is right, you’ll be ready to lacerate that paper and devour what’s inside. You’ll remember and appreciate how exciting it is to be surprised.

What I’m trying to say is: it will be worth it. I promise. We’ll get through this. Hang in there, bud.

Big love,

Leithy 💖
